Pricing and Underwriting is a complex field where historical data, geospatial information, and mathematical models converge, requiring talented analysts. Our Pricers and Underwriters are essential in balancing business goals with customer needs, reducing risk, predicting future events, and ensuring our business growth while offering the best prices to our consumers.
What you’ll be doing
12-month FTC
Within the Motor Retail Modelling team, you will be responsible for developing new models to support our price optimisation strategies, predicting market and customer behaviors. You will also monitor existing models' performance and explore new data sources and techniques to enhance value for the Motor business.
Our hybrid working model offers flexibility, with colleagues typically spending at least 2 days a week in the office depending on their role and team.
What you’ll need
* Degree in a numerate subject
* At least 5 years of experience in insurance pricing
* Strong understanding of statistical techniques such as GLMs
* Experience with SQL, Python, RADAR & EMBLEM is preferred but not mandatory
* Previous experience within insurance/pricing is essential for this role (minimum 5 years).
