About the Role
We are currently recruiting for a passionate and committed SEND Teacher to work across a range of schools in Chelmsford. This opportunity is offered through a well-established education recruitment agency, providing you with access to both mainstream and specialist settings.
You will play a key role in supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities, delivering tailored learning and helping students reach their full potential in a nurturing and inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons to meet individual needs
Support pupils with a range of SEND, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and moderate learning difficulties
Create a positive, inclusive, and structured classroom environment
Work closely with Teaching Assistants, SENCOs, and external professionals
Monitor, assess, and report on student progress
Contribute to and implement EHCPs and personalised learning plans
Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Experience working with SEND pupils in a school or specialist provision
Strong behaviour management and adaptability
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach
