We are looking for a Trainee Employee Relations (ER) Advisor to join a leading national law firm based in Bristol. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone looking to build a career in Employee Relations within a supportive and professional environment.
The Role
Reporting to the ER Manager, youll gain hands-on experience managing ER cases, supporting people projects, and developing into a trusted advisor.
Key responsibilities include:
* Managing employee relations cases in line with employment law and company policy
* Advising and coaching managers using a practical, solution-focused approach
* Supporting people-focused initiatives and continuous improvement projects
* Contributing to training and wider development of people practices
About You
* CIPD Level 5 qualified or currently studying towards it
* Experience in ER (either in a specialist/generalist role), or strong HR Coordinator/Officer experience and keen to grow in ER
* Solid understanding of UK employment law
* Great communicator with strong problem-solving and organisational skills
* Approachable, discreet, and professional
* Experience in professional services is helpful but not essential
