Job Vacancy: Level 2 Teaching Assistant (TA)
Location: Formby, Merseyside
Start Date: September 2025
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Formby starting in September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to support childrens learning in a nurturing and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the class teacher in the delivery of engaging and inclusive lessons.
* Assist pupils on a one:to:one or small group basis to aid their learning.
* Help create a positive and stimulating learning environment.
* Support the implementation of individual education plans (IEPs).
* Monitor and track pupil progress under the guidance of teaching staff.
* Promote positive behaviour and inclusion across the classroom.
The Ideal Candidate Will
* Hold a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
* Have recent experience working with children in a school or educational setting.
* Be caring, patient, and proactive.
* Be confident supporting children with a range of needs.
* Work well independently and as part of a team.
