TXM Recruit are currently recruiting for an Electrical Test Engineer in the Milton Keynes/Luton/Oxford area. The work involved will be working in a commercial or industrial setting for a large award-winning electrical company.
1. Working hours – 45 hours per week
2. Salary - £38,000 - £42,000, depending on experience
3. Location – Milton Keynes / Luton / Oxford
Your duties will be yet not limited to
4. Good sound electrical knowledge. Able to complete EICR’s in commercial/Industrial properties
5. Extensive knowledge of single and three-phase fault finding and 1st time fixes.
6. To conduct electrical repairs / minor works.
7. To liaise with the helpdesk for planned and routine maintenance programmes and reporting procedures.
8. To work to recognised industry standards at all times.
9. To maintain records of all work, and that required paperwork is completed and sent in within the defined timescales.
10. To undertake training as required to perform the duties of the role, including health and safety courses and further trade development to maintain current knowledge and professional qualifications (Continued Professional Development).
11. Ability to act on own initiative.
Requirements
12. City & Guilds 2360 or 2365 Level 3, or equivalent to BS7671 18th edition
13. NVQ Level 3 including AM2
14. City & Guilds or equivalent 2391-2394-95
15. An enhanced DBS disclosure will be requested
