We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)to join our Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) team in Bishop Auckland. This is a rewarding opportunity to support young learners at a crucial stage in their development, working alongside a dedicated and supportive staff team.
About the Role
As an HLTA in EYFS, you will:
* Deliver planned learning activities to individuals, small groups, and whole classes
* Support the class teacher in creating a stimulating and nurturing environment
* Promote positive behaviour and support children’s social and emotional development
* Cover lessons in the absence of the class teacher when required
The Ideal Candidate Will:
* Hold HLTA status or equivalent qualification/experience
* Have recent experience working within EYFS
* Demonstrate a strong understanding of early childhood development
* Be proactive, flexible, and able to use initiative
* Have excellent communication and teamwork skills
* Be passionate about supporting children to achieve their full potential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
