Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate local TEFL teacher / Tutor to provide educational support to adult Chinese doctors of various ages and learning abilities. The ideal candidate will have experience working with adults, Chinese students. As a Tutor, you will play a vital role in helping students achieve their academic goals and build their confidence in their abilities.
Working hours is 3-4 hours per day, 4 days a week.
Responsibilities
* Deliver personalised tutoring sessions tailored to a group of Chinese doctors
* Assess students' strengths and weaknesses to develop effective learning strategies.
* Create engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and educational objectives.
* Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and enthusiasm for learning.
* Maintain accurate records of student performance and progress.
Skills
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with students
* Proven experience in tutoring or teaching, particularly in subjects relevant to day to day communication, NHS, the general medical sector
* Strong organisational skills to manage multiple students and lesson plans efficiently.
* A genuine passion for educating foreign students and helping them succeed in social and medical settings
Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 1 week
Pay: £20.00-£30.00 per hour
