We are seeking an experienced Principal Integration Architect to deliver some of the largest, complex and most innovative enterprise Digital projects.
Your role
Own the enterprise integration strategy, define principles, patterns, reference architectures, operating model and governance that enable secure, scalable and cost‑effective connectivity across cloud and on‑premise. Lead programmes to successful delivery of integrations.
What you’ll do
* Work as the Integration Architect on the adoption of Hybrid Integration or an iPaaS solution to support organisations in defining the integration strategy, target‑state reference architecture and roadmap.
* Establish enterprise integration guiding principles and reusable patterns.
* Lead iPaaS and gateway platform evaluations across MuleSoft, Azure Integration Services, Boomi, Apigee, IBM webMethods, Workato among others.
* Define and run integration governance covering API lifecycle, design standards, versioning, security controls, publishing, discoverability and reuse.
* Participate in a Technical Design Authority to assess and quantify risks associated with design decisions and communicate these to relevant parties.
* Champion the adoption of GenAI and Agentic technologies in integration services, shaping future‑ready offerings that resonate with industry needs.
* Build and nurture relationships with vendors, supporting joint value propositions and presenting to prospective clients together with the sales team.
Your skill and experience
* Proven track record defining and executing enterprise integration strategies.
* Proven track record of implementing integration projects.
* Experience in MCP/A2A, RAML, REST and XML technologies.
* Architectural knowledge with a good understanding of integration patterns, hybrid integration and micro‑service architecture.
* Strong communication skills and experience with distributed delivery (off‑shore/on‑shore project delivery).
* Able to build productive client relationships and identify and develop opportunities for new business.
* Passion and genuine interest for integration cloud technologies and products.
* Ability to lead cross‑functional teams and influence across delivery, sales and partner ecosystems.
* Deep understanding of GenAI, Agentic workflows and their application in enterprise integration.
Requirements
To be successfully appointed to this role, a Security Check (SC) clearance is required. The successful applicant must have resided continuously within the United Kingdom for the last 5 years and meet all other SC criteria.
