Job Title: IT PMO Analyst / Technical Change Manager – Legal Services
Location: City of London (3 days per week onsite)
Contract: 6-month FTC
Start Date: Immediate
Salary: £60,000-£75,000 (depending on experience)
We are seeking an experienced IT PMO Analyst / Technical Change Manager to join a large-scale, complex technology programme environment. This role sits within IT delivery and plays a key part in supporting programme coordination, governance, and the successful management of high-volume technical change.
You will work closely with Programme and Project Managers to ensure change is effectively planned, tracked, and delivered, with clear visibility of dependencies, risks, and impacts across multiple workstreams.
Key Responsibilities
PMO & Programme Support
* Support the day-to-day operation of the IT PMO across complex programmes with multiple interdependent projects and workstreams
* Maintain core programme artefacts including plans, RAID logs, dependency trackers, and status reports
* Coordinate governance activities, including preparing materials for programme boards and leadership forums
* Produce accurate and timely reporting, highlighting progress, risks, dependencies, and key issues
* Provide insight and analysis across programmes, identifying trends, risks, and capacity constraints
Technical Change Coordination & Assurance
* Support the coordination and assurance of technical change within a high-volume IT environment
* Manage and track dependencies across projects, workstreams, and individual changes
* Ensure technical change is well planned, sequenced, and aligned with programme milestones
* Validate the quality and completeness of change documentation, including risks, impacts, and assumptions
* Support Change Advisory Board (CAB) processes, ensuring submissions are complete and risks are clearly understood
* Identify and escalate risks, clashes, and gaps in change planning, driving resolution with key stakeholders
* Consolidate fragmented information into a clear, coherent view to support decision-making
Required Experience
* Proven experience in a PMO, programme, or portfolio support role within an IT environment
* Strong background supporting IT or technical change governance in complex delivery settings
* Experience managing dependencies across multiple projects and technical workstreams
* Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities in fast-paced environments
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate technical detail into clear business insights
* Experience supporting large-scale IT programmes or transformations
* Exposure to merger, acquisition, or major technology change initiatives
* Background within legal or professional services environments
