This is a rewarding opportunity to support and re-engage learners through a personalised and supportive educational approach, helping them achieve positive outcomes and prepare for life beyond school.Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging, evidence-informed lessons tailored to individual pupil needs
* Support pupils with SEND, trauma backgrounds, and behavioural challenges
* Use assessment data to track progress and adapt teaching strategies
* Promote social, emotional, and academic development through therapeutic approaches
* Maintain high expectations for behaviour and learning
* Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and specialist staff
Requirements
* Proven experience teaching pupils with complex needs and challenging behaviour
* QTS/QTLS qualification
* Strong understanding of curriculum, assessment, and behaviour management in specialist settings
* Ability to plan, deliver, and assess effective teaching and learning
* Commitment to safeguarding and professional standards
* Resilience, empathy, adaptability, and a passion for supporting vulnerable pupils
