As Associate Director Coastal Engineering, you will play a pivotal role in every phase of coastal design, from concept to construction, on iconic projects at home and abroad.
Responsibilities
* Own and direct multidisciplinary design teams to deliver high‑quality technical design work that meets relevant design standards and codes.
* Define project briefs, scopes of work, and enrich bid proposals to win key programmes.
* Manage project timelines and budgets to hit key milestones and programme targets.
* Collaborate closely with teams across the UK and overseas to integrate design solutions that meet client objectives.
* Set and uphold design quality assurance standards throughout the project lifecycle.
* Grow, develop, and manage the coastal engineering capability within the practice.
Qualifications
* Chartered Civil Engineer.
* Experience owning design delivery, including multidisciplinary design teams.
* Comprehensive and in‑depth knowledge of coastal engineering analysis and design in the UK and overseas.
* Ability to work with our clients worldwide to develop solutions that meet their requirements.
* Promote technical excellence, best practice, sustainability, net zero, and digital innovation.
* Mentor and develop junior staff.
