Schedule: 2 12-hour shifts, weekends required
For a limited time, MaineHealth is offering sign-on bonuses for Clinical Nursing Assistants (CNA):
1. $2,500 for candidates with 0-1 years of experience (full-time)
2. $4,000 for candidates with 1+ years of experience (full-time)
Bonus eligibility details:
* Hired (offer accepted) into a full or part-time CNA position; bonus prorated for part-time hires; per diem hires are ineligible.
* Current MaineHealth employees are ineligible; former employees are ineligible until more than 6 months of separation.
Unit Bio:
Our 17-bed Labor/Delivery/Recovery unit in the Coulombe Family Tower delivers approximately 3,100 babies annually. We accept high-risk pregnancy transfers from Maine and New Hampshire. Role Summary:
The Certified Nursing Assistant II assists in providing nursing care to designated patients under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, performing various direct and indirect care duties.
Under supervision of Registered Nurses and according to policies and procedures, performs tasks such as taking vital signs and assisting with basic hygiene and activities of daily living, considering the specific needs of patient populations.
Minimum Qualifications (KSAs):
* High school diploma or GED preferred.
* Current applicable state license as a Certified Nursing Assistant required.
* Current BLS certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of start date.
* 0-6 months CNA experience; on-the-job training provided.
