We’re hiring multiple Senior Product Engineers (contractors) with strong frontend or full-stack capabilities to join a large-scale public sector transformation programme.
This role focuses on building modern, user-centric digital products as part of cross-functional teams spanning product, design, and engineering.
You’ll be working on high-impact platforms, delivering intuitive, scalable web applications used by a wide range of users.

This is a hands-on product engineering role with a strong focus on frontend development and user experience.
You’ll be expected to:
* Build modern web applications using React and TypeScript
* Contribute across the stack where needed (Node.js backend services)

* Translate user needs into intuitive, high-quality UI experiences
* Apply modern engineering practices including TDD, CI/CD, and component-driven development

Strong, recent experience with:
* React and modern frontend development (hooks, state management, component architecture)
* TypeScript in production environments
* Building scalable, maintainable frontend applications
* Integrating with APIs and backend services
* Node.js for backend or full-stack development (desirable)
* Modern testing practices (unit, integration, end-to-end)
* CI/CD pipelines and modern development workflows
* Working in cross-functional, product-led teams
Nice to Have
* Experience with design systems and component libraries
* Exposure to accessibility (a11y) best practices
* Experience working in public sector or regulated environments
* Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS)
