Description In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: Developing competence to carry out assembly of products in line with standard operating procedures and relevant standards. Developing competence to carry out testing of products to specified product methods and in line with standards and procedures and health and safety requirements. Developing competence to ensure sales order requirements are interpreted correctly and delivered as required. Liaising with supervisors on quality issues arising from manufacturing. Developing competence in ensuring that all tools/machines used are fit for purpose and reporting any problems to Supervision immediately. Recommending and carrying out any improvements in line with the company’s continuous improvement program. Working at all time within Health and Safety guidelines, including the correct use of PPE. Maintaining excellent levels of house keeping. Keeping accurate and up to date production records. Showing flexibility and working in other parts of the production areas as required. Taking an active role in Perfect Execution activities where required. Being aware of and following all company policies and procedures in carrying out the role Attendance at additional training in other areas that complement the Apprenticeship Who You Are: You have the capability to efficiently and accurately handle complex tasks. You are self motivated with a positive can-do attitude. For This Role, You Will Need: Work to achieve the Level 3 apprenticeship standard Engineering Fitter Attention to detail and pride in quality of work Quality focused Flexible and adaptable for potential cross functional training Basic IT skills Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart: Prior experience of valve assembly would be desirable but not essential.
