Academics are currently looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Drama teacher for one of our highly regarded secondary schools in West Leedsfor a September 2025 start. This is an exciting position for those that are looking to take the next step in their teaching career!\n\nIn the schools most recent Ofsted report the teachers were praised for being ambitious and having high subject knowledge. Pupils were praised for displaying excellent behaviour, as well as being polite and courteous towards other students and members of staff.\n\nAs a Drama teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering high quality lessons to students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, preparing students for any upcoming exams and assessments, and contributing towards extracurricular activities such as school productions and Drama clubs.\n\nThe Ideal candidate must have the following:\n\nA Drama related degree along with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)\nExperience teaching Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 Drama in a Secondary setting\nRight to work in the UK\nA enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to apply for one)\nStrong behaviour management and communication skills\nA passion for Drama and making a positive impact on student's lives \n\nAcademics are a well-established recruitment company with over 20 branches across the UK, you will be represented by one of our experienced consultants here in the Leeds branch that will assist you every step of the way in achieving your career objectives.\n\nWe also offer weekly pay that is paid to scale through PAYE.
