Overview
Network & Security Infrastructure Engineer – Tamworth (onsite with some flexibility). We’re looking for a Network Infrastructure Engineer to join a technology-driven business and play a key role in managing and improving their IT infrastructure. This is a hands-on role covering Windows Server, Active Directory, Azure, and Hyper-V, with responsibility for both day-to-day operations and long-term projects.
Responsibilities
* Administer and support Windows Server, AD, Hyper-V, and Azure environments
* Monitor and optimise network/server performance, security, and backups
* Troubleshoot complex technical issues across Microsoft and Linux systems
* Provide 3rd line support and guidance to the wider IT team
* Liaise with vendors and implement system upgrades and improvements
Key Skills
* Strong experience with Hyper-V
* Knowledge of SANs, networking, and Office 365, Intune
* Good understanding of IT security protocols and compliance
* Scripting/automation skills (PowerShell desirable)
* Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
