This UK-based manufacturer specialises in producing precision-engineered products made from stainless steel and high-value alloys used in demanding applications across the aerospace, medical, oil and gas, and nuclear energy industries.
Role
The Quality Director will be responsible for developing and implementing quality strategies, including overseeing all aspects of quality control and assurance, continuous improvement/LEAN methodologies, maintaining a strong trajectory of zero external defects and on-time delivery, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards. The Quality Director will lead a talented team of quality and technical professionals.

We are looking for a strong Quality professional with a proven track record in managing a Quality function within a manufacturing or engineering business. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and knowledge in engineering, with significant experience in driving process improvements and fostering a robust quality culture backed by KPIs. This role is customer-centric, supporting the Global Commercial Director in NPI and customer relations. A driven and energetic leader, the candidate should communicate confidently across all levels and integrate quality into all aspects of the business. As a key part of the talent pipeline and succession planning, the candidate will demonstrate awareness of how the quality function contributes to overall business growth and actively support business development.
