Hull, North Humberside - £28 - £35 per hour Contract
We are working with Schools and Local Authorities in your area and are looking for Core Subject (Maths, English, or Science) SEND Tutors and Teachers to transform the lives of Young People with SEND and SEMH needs in your community.
This role is based on joining TARGETED PROVISION LTD, a child-centred company committed to reimagining the world of support for vulnerable young people by planning and delivering flexible, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring.
Responsibilities
* Plan and report for lessons and provide regular feedback on student progress
* CPD and employee mentoring: TES CPD suite and professional mentor access
* SEND Support Team: Support to keep a team around you and the child
* Community and Company Events: Knowledge sharing and resources
* Referral Programme: Get rewarded for successful tutor referrals
* A Role with Purpose: Support pupils and students, ranging from KS1 - KS5 (as appropriate for your skills), referred by local authorities and schools by planning and delivering flexible, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring
* Safeguarding: Knowledge of safeguarding and creating a safe learning environment
Qualifications and Requirements
* Subjects: Familiarity teaching English, Maths, and/or Science
* Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS)
* Compliance: Enhanced DBS (we can facilitate this if needed) and 2+ professional references
* Location: Based in the UK with a right to work in the UK, including for remote/online roles
Additional Information
* Experience: 2+ years teaching experience, ideally with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or PMLD in a holistic and trauma-informed approach
* Role scope: Referred by local authorities and schools; flexible, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring for pupils and students
* Other roles from the field: SENDCo, SLD/MLD Teacher, Autism/ADHD Support Teacher, Intervention Specialist/Teacher/Tutor, Ex-Teacher
