Description Job Title: MTO Location: Glasgow Key Accountabilities Ensure conduct and behaviour to be compliant with Wincanton Health & Safety legislation and guidelines Work in a team environment Operate customer & Wincanton IT systems as required Complete all necessary paperwork accurately A range of duties to support the operational efficiency and general housekeeping and hygiene standards of the warehouse and site Undertake all training necessary to fulfil the requirement of flexibility to enable presence within any required areas of the warehouse To undertake such additional duties as may be reasonably required for the effective role Ensure time and attendance within Company set standards Be available for call out work as part of an existing team Flexibility - overtime requirements Ensure that any issues are escalated to management Carry out operational tasks as requested in order to achieve departmental and site objectives React to change due to operational and client requirements and carrying out duties in a professional and timely fashion Ensure the correct handling of all client products is carried out at all stages within the facility Complete all relevant documentation as required in order to provide a quality service to our client and, therefore, contributing to greater operational efficiency Be committed to continuous improvement in line with operational needs, constantly striving for increased efficiency, productivity and growth Operate within the Wincanton values – Excellence, Integrity, Passion, Proactivity, Togetherness and Trust Compliance with all Wincanton policies and procedures Competencies: • Able to provide and understand the need for a high standard of customer service • A proactive, flexible and "can do" attitude to resolve issues and challenges • The individual needs to be able to demonstrate attention to detail and an accurate and precise way of working • PC literate and numerate with good communication skills, including a minimum of a basic understanding of Microsoft Office as required •Ability to work as part of a team but also independently and to show initiative • Flexibility is required regarding shift patterns • Possess a positive attitude with a keen and enthusiastic approach • Ability to use IT Systems in accordance with training provided • Attention to detail required to assume quality checking/quality control • Ability to train others to a high standard • Compliance with manual handling procedures
