Due to continued growth, we're seeking a proactive and driven Junior Quantity Surveyor, preferably with an M&E bias, to join our dynamic commercial team.
The Opportunity
This is an excellent opportunity for a Junior QS looking to build a long-term career within the M&E sector. You will support the commercial team in managing costs, contracts, and valuations for various projects. Working alongside experienced QSs and project managers, you'll gain valuable hands-on experience and ongoing training.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist in preparing and managing project budgets and cost plans
* Support procurement processes and subcontractor management
* Assist with valuations, variations, and final accounts
* Ensure accurate cost reporting and forecasting
* Assist in contract administration and ensure compliance with contract conditions
Requirements for the Role
* HND/Degree (or working towards) in Quantity Surveying or related discipline
* Strong interest in the Mechanical & Electrical sector
* Excellent numerical and analytical skills
* Good communication and organizational abilities
* A willingness to learn and develop in a fast-paced environment
Some site or construction experience (placement or apprenticeship) is desirable.
