Full time hours on a temporary basis
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Finance Accountancy Officer to join our finance team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in accounting and financial reporting, who thrives in a fast-paced and detail-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
* Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers.
* Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
* Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
* Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts.
* Process invoices, payments, and journal entries.
* Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
* Collaborate with internal departments to resolve financial queries.
* Contribute to process improvements and system enhancements.
Qualifications
* AAT qualified or equivalent; progression towards ACCA/CIMA is a plus.
* Previous experience in a finance or accountancy role.
* Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software (e.g., Sage, Xero, QuickBooks).
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
* Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
