Driver Hire Leeds West are currently looking to recruit a number of HGV Class 2 Tipper Drivers to join our clients expanding team in Leeds LS27.
These are ongoing roles, with steady work throughout the year, with opportunities for permanent roles within the business. These are Monday to Friday roles with no weekend work involved.
Key Responsibilities
1. Operating a Class 2 Tipper on construction, civil engineering, and bulk haulage sites
2. Transporting aggregates, soil, muck, and other materials between sites and depots
3. Carrying out daily vehicle checks and completing defect reports
4. Ensuring loads are tipped safely and in line with site instructions
5. Working to delivery schedules while maintaining high safety standards
6. Complying with driver hours, tachograph rules, and road traffic legislation
7. Keeping the vehicle clean, tidy, and roadworthy at all times
8. Communicating professionally with site managers, weighbridge staff, and planners
Our Payrates start at £16.14 for Class 2 work with your Holiday Pay included. We operate our own payroll too, with weekly payments and never any charges for producing your payslip!

Basic Requirements of the Role
9. Class 2 Tipper Driving Experience
10. Fully up-to-date licences
11. A Full CPC Card
12. Safety Boots and Hi-Vis
13. Flexibility / Communication and Honesty
14. No more than 6 points on your licence and for minor offences only – we do not accept any Drink or Drug endorsements or T99 endorsements
