An established and growing UK-based accounting software provider is seeking a commercially focused Accounting Software Account Manager to manage and develop its client portfolio. This hybrid role combines account management, client success, and full-cycle sales. You will manage existing client relationships, oversee onboarding and training, drive renewals and upsells, and support new business opportunities from lead qualification through to close. Role • Manage a portfolio of existing clients and act as primary point of contact • Deliver onboarding, training, and tailored product demonstrations • Drive renewals, upselling, and cross-selling opportunities • Support the full sales cycle including proposals and negotiations • Maintain CRM records, pipeline forecasting, and revenue targets • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure high client satisfaction Requirements • Minimum 2 years’ experience with accounting software (e.g. Xero, QuickBooks, Sage) • Strong understanding of bookkeeping and financial reporting • Experience in account management, sales, or client-facing roles • Commercially driven with excellent communication skills • Comfortable working in a hybrid role including client visits Should you have any questions or wish to apply please do not hesitate to contact Clear IT Recruitment Limited.
