With Ofwat’s AMP8 investment programme injecting £88 billion into the UK water sector, Structural Soils, part of the RSK Group, is poised to play a pivotal role in delivering geotechnical excellence across major infrastructure projects. We’re seeking Graduate Ground Engineers to join our expanding team delivering complex ground investigations, primarily within the water sector.
Responsibilities
* Assist in the delivery of geotechnical projects from inception to completion.
* Undertake ground investigations, interpret data, and deliver high-quality reports.
* Collaborate with clients, regulators, and multidisciplinary teams.
* Ensure compliance with industry standards and health & safety regulations.
Qualifications / Person Specification
* Degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Geology, or related field.
* Excellent communication, teamwork skills, and client-facing skills.
* Entry level role with extensive training in all aspects of ground investigation projects to kickstart your career and develop technical, commercial, and management skills.
* A desire to become a key member of the local and national team of engineers through demonstrated excellence.
* Willingness to learn geotechnical soil and rock logging.
* Willingness to learn how to collate geotechnical data using the latest industry software and write reports for external clients within internal protocols.
* Full clean UK manual driving license essential.
