About the role...

Are you ready to take the next step in your career with Avove? Were looking for a talented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our dynamic team in a full-time capacity, offering the flexibility of hybrid working - both from home and our welcoming Chorley office.

Reporting directly to the Transactional Services Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and effective delivery of accounts payable services across the business. This is your chance to undertake a role that is both challenging and rewarding, where your expertise will make a real difference and your contributions are valued.


What will your day look like...

* Processing supplier invoices end to end
* Adhering to procedures to process vendor payment runs
* Respond to emails timely regarding accounts payable related issues and queries
* Creating vendor remittance advice notes
* Communicate and build positive relationships with internal and external vendors and key stakeholders
* Run Accounts Payable related reports
* Reconcile supplier accounts and statements
* Manage internal and external queries from customers and contracts
* Any other ad hoc accounting to support the wider finance teams


About you...

* Accounts payable experience
* Hands‑on experience in Oracle NetSuite Accounts Payable module or other similar system
* Experience of outsourced project‑based industries or construction
* Strong organisational skills
* Friendly and professional with excellent communication skills
* Intermediate Excel (Pivot tables/Look ups)
