Job Purpose
* Overseeing audit assignments from planning to completion, ensuring deadlines and budgets are met
* Preparation of accounts
* Communicating clearly and effectively at all levels to progress assignments and resolve queries
* Supervising junior staff, including reviewing work and delivering training
* Building trusted client relationships, acting as their main point of contact to proactively handle queries
* Championing your own professional development, undertaking training opportunities where possible
* Working directly with Managers to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements

The Successful Applicant
* ACA / ACCA qualified, part qualified or currently studying
* Demonstrable experience within UK practice
* Proven track record of overseeing audits from planning to completion
* A hands-on team player who can also work autonomously
* Self-motivated and reliable, with a hands-on work ethic
* IT proficiency including Microsoft Office, SAGE, Xero and QuickBooks
* Exceptional communication skills and keen eye for detail
* Able to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues alike
* Good awareness of current affairs and solid commercial acumen
* A can-do attitude towards problem-solving
* Ability to work well under pressure
