ROLE SUMMARY
Infrastructure service consultant is lead technical, architect and consultative resource forIT Operation team and work closely with Operation, Service desk and PMO team to deliver IT Services BAU and Project work and ensure to run smooth IT Services
ROLESANDRESPONSIBILITIES
Business as usual
oMonitoring of Alerts, replication and review of IS issues.
o2ndand 3rdline incident and Service request management.
oRoot cause analysis and problem management.
oActive directory, DNS, DHCP, File and print services administration and management.
oSupported OpCos IT service administration and management.
o2nd& 3rdline support for all Wintel, AD, DNS, DHCP, RSA, Certificate Authority, RDWEB, Trillex EPO, Encryption and all services etc.
oAzure AD Connect and ADFS administration and management
oPerimeter Services & WAN/LAN implementation and support
oForti manager and Analyzer administration and management.
oVoice (Mitel cloud PBX) administration.
oProcess and technical Documentation.
oCloud Services administration and management (AWS workspace, O365 License allocation, O365, EMS, SharePoint, MS Team and Intune Administration etc.)
oVMWare & vCenter support, installation, management and maintenance.
oVeeam Backup/restore administration
oHardware configuration review and sizing for servers and storages.
oNimble San and Thecus NAS Support, management and maintenance.
oFTP, Lotus notes client support
oSystem center configuration management
oApple business manager and mobile device management using Intune.
oKey management services
oAtlassian Jira administration
oBasic MS SQL DBA
oMicrosoft power automate, flow knowledge.
Project and Architectural
oUpgrade/Consolidation/merger of different forest Active directory domain, DNS, DHCP, users, groups and security policies.
oConsolidation/merger of application and other services from another domain to parental domain. Like Wi-Fi, SharePoint etc.
oConfiguration management for Infra projects.
oProject Management (Assessment, Planning, testing, deployment and go live) for Infra projects like AD migration, AD Consolidation, FW upgrade etc.
oDesigning, architecture and capacity planning for infra projects.
oUpgradation of servers from windows 2012/2016 to windows 2019/2022 with their services.
oDeployment and administration of System center configuration manager.
oMicrosoft 365 feature, security and compliance deployment and administration.
oWindows 10 feature pack updates
Application Service/Server support
oRemote desktop services support for CAS CRM, Evatic etc.
oAzure SSO support for S4Hana, IBP, Chrome River etc.
oSQL Server administration and management
oD365 Administration support
oOne drive administration
oSharepoint Intranet site administration
Functional
oWork in close collaboration with other members of the department and business areas.
oEnsure adherence to existing IT methodologies, technologies, operations, documentation, and quality control standards, policies, procedures, etc.
oImplementation and testing of Proof of Concept solutions based on requirement by business.
oA recognized strong team player known for consistent delivery of quality services
oCordination with Onsite and other opcos IS team.

EXPERIENCEANDBACKGROUND
WORK HISTORY
Strong technical background with 15 years IT Industry experience
12-year experience interacting directly and at all levels with industry leading customers and working on different infrastructure projects.
Experience with managing multiple complex IT Infrastructure projects with multi-disciplined teams
Experience with application deployment
Experience with Cloud Architecting for AWS and Azure.
Hands on experience in Microsoft 365 services including sharepoint and exchange online administration and governance.
Experience in public DNS services and domain registration/change
Experience in PKI, KMS services along with NAC.
Governance knowledge for enterprise IT.
TECHNICAL COMPETENCE
Ability to think creatively and apply innovative approaches to business problems and opportunities.
Experience in documenting current and future state business/operations processes
Strong ability to present and demonstrate complex procedures to diverse groups
Demonstrated ability to apply a systematic approach to problem solving through analysis of the problem and evaluation of alternative solutions
Strong technical knowledge including client and server operating systems, networking environments and software solutions preferably related to IS.
Strong project management skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Project
Strong knowledge of software driver implementation, IP protocol schema and basic network protocols
Excellent skills in MS Office Suite including, word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software.
