PeopleScout EMEA are excited to be partnering with a large enterprise organisation that is incredibly well known and established in its sector. They are looking to hire an experienced Head of Enterprise Architecture. The role is based in Middlesex and they work a 2 days from home hybrid week with flexibility. To excel in this post you will not only have a breadth of technical knowledge but be a true leader. This is from team management (+10 in team), strategy for Enterprise Architecture and dealing with the senior and executive level management.
Role Purpose
The Head of Enterprise Architecture is the strategic leader accountable for defining, leading, and governing the enterprise architecture function across all digital and technology domains. As a member of the IT Strategy & Architecture Leadership team with the other Heads of Architecture domains, the Head of Enterprise Architecture establishes and governs architecture standards and enterprise design principles.
Key Accountability
* Engage multiple functions across the business with Directors, SLT members and external senior level strategic partners to align IT strategy with desired business outcomes and ensure propagation of this strategy throughout the IT Strategy and Architecture teams to ensure compliance
* Strategic leadership of the Enterprise Architecture function
* Deliver the strategic direction and assurance for all architecture domains – business, application, data, and technology
* Leadership of the Enterprise Architecture team to provide architectural oversight for major transformation programmes
* Technical expertise and People leadership of a team of c. 10 Solution / Domain Architects who are technical experts, delivering a high-performance and collaborative culture across the wider Strategy & Architecture team
Experience
* Proven leadership experience in enterprise architecture within a complex environment
* Extensive knowledge of architectural frameworks (e.g., TOGAF) and enterprise integration patterns
* Demonstrated experience leading architecture for large-scale transformation programmes
* Strong stakeholder engagement skills at CxO and senior operational levels
* Developing and delivering projects from strategy to execution
