About the Role
Your main focus as a Senior Care Assistant will be to support and work alongside the Care team to deliver high standards of personal care, ensuring a safe, caring, innovative, open, supportive, and inclusive environment for residents, visitors, and staff.
Additional responsibilities include:
1. Monitoring the wellbeing of each resident, being aware of any changes impacting care and care plans, ensuring that new needs are met, and records are updated accordingly.
2. Participating in the person-centred care planning process, including implementing, monitoring, and conducting monthly evaluations.
3. Supporting residents with their medication requirements.
4. Undertaking staff supervisions and supporting staff development where needed.
5. Acting as a key contact for residents, their relatives and visitors, and health and social care professionals involved in their wellbeing, ensuring that requests are addressed, and concerns or complaints are escalated appropriately.
About You

Our ideal candidate will:
1. Hold an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in care for care homes.
2. Have at least 2 years’ experience working in a similar care environment.
3. Be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
4. Have a positive attitude towards supporting and nurturing residents and staff.
5. Be responsive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities.
