Experience required
Essential:
8. Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
9. Able to design and develop infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, drainage systems, and signalling, with key experience to demonstrate this
10. Experience in conducting site assessments and feasibility studies to determine project requirements and constraints
11. Able to prepare detailed engineering plans, specifications, and cost estimates
12. Able to oversee and manage project execution and work with the Project Manager, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards
13. Proven ability to collaborate with designers, planners, contractors, and other stakeholders to integrate engineering solutions
14. Ability to perform and review engineering calculations, simulations, and modelling
15. Detailed knowledge of local authority and industry regulations and standards, and experience at ensuring compliance with these
16. Able to identify and resolve technical issues and provide innovative solutions to complex problems
17. Expert in preparing and presenting reports, proposals, and project documentation
Desirable:
18. Working towards or achievement of Chartered status
19. Proficiency in engineering design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation)
20. Experience with sustainable design practices and environmental considerations
21. Knowledge of emerging technologies and innovations in Civil Engineering
