Your key responsibilities as a Special Needs Teaching Assistant:
* Assist with lesson planning, help organise classroom materials, and track progress.
* Be able to remain calm and composed if presented with challenging behaviour.
* Be understanding of the emotional and psychological needs of children with special needs.
* Strong communication skills to effectively engage with students and staff.
* Safeguard and promote the welfare of pupils.
Requirements:
* Hold the Right to Work in the UK.
* Have an enhanced DBS certificate on the update service or be happy to apply.
* Relevant experience in the industry is advantageous but not essential.
* Be able to provide two references within the last 2 years.
