A great opportunity to join a fantastic company based in Derbyshire. You will support the wider HR team as a People Advisor.
Your new role
You will act as a key point of contact for HR queries, advising on terms and conditions of employment, and supporting HR policies and procedures. You may also be involved in developing new policies, processing changes during the employee lifecycle, and contributing to people projects and initiatives. The role requires strong stakeholder management skills, a commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion, and a proactive approach to managing health and safety risks.
Employee Relations: Serve as the first point of contact for employee queries, handling disciplinary cases, grievances, and attendance issues.Policy Development: Review and develop HR policies and procedures in collaboration with the People Business Partner.
HR Administration: Oversee employee contracts, salary administration, benefits, and leave management, ensuring timely updates and accuracy.
Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR policies and practices, and support change initiatives
You will have experience of HR/People advisory
