looking to expand their existing team and recruit a Head of Design
The business has developed an enviable reputation for consistently delivering high end, complex and design led projects across the capital for over 20 years.
Due to an expansion of workload, they are now looking to attract and recruit a Head of Design to help shape and deliver the design strategy for a range of upcoming developments within London
Additional responsibilities will include:
* Managing the assessment of new developments from a design perspective, ensuring projects are commercially viable and aesthetically appealing.
* Manage and maintain relationships with external consultants, ensuring they are well briefed and work to agreed principles.
* Adopt a flexible and creative approach, providing design solutions to help unlock potential issues.
* Work with internal planning teams and other key stakeholders to ensure projects can achieve planning consent.
Experience of managing the design process for high value, complex mixed use or apartment led projects, gained from within a Residential/Mixed Use Developer or Architectural Practice would be appropriate for the role. In addition, all candidates will need to be capable of forming effective relationships with external and internal stakeholders, and exhibit a calm, professional approach to problem solving.
