Our stunning care home, Guiseley Manor Care Centre, is a purpose-built 72-bed facility located in Guiseley, West Yorkshire, Leeds. We provide residential, nursing, and dementia care, ensuring the highest standards of safety, comfort, and care. We are seeking a kind, caring, and organized Hospitality Assistant to join our team. The role involves providing efficient food service to residents and visitors, maintaining cleanliness within the dining area, and assisting with general hospitality duties. The position offers a 35-hour contract with an hourly rate of £11.44. Shift times are 08:00-19:00, with alternate weekends.
Role Responsibilities:
1. Provide high standards of hospitality service.
2. Support and assist visitors.
3. Inform the Chef of residents' individual requirements.
4. Follow cleaning schedules and HACCP procedures.
5. Adhere to all training and safety protocols.
6. Accurately complete records and reports.
7. Promote safeguarding and the welfare of adults in contact with the role.
Skills and Experience Required:
1. Hospitality or catering experience (desirable).
2. Experience working in a care setting (desirable).
3. Effective communication skills.
4. Willingness to participate in home activities.
