* About The Role
* As an Operations Manager at Atlas, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth, safe and effective delivery of operational services. You will be responsible for leading teams, managing day-to-day operations, and maintaining high standards across people, processes and performance.
You will build strong working relationships with the Atlas Control Centre and wider stakeholders to ensure effective communication, coordination and service delivery. A core part of the role will involve ensuring that teams are fully briefed on their daily duties, understand their responsibilities, and operate in line with company procedures and expectations.
You will also oversee compliance with operational requirements, including ensuring that vehicle checks are completed daily and any damage or issues are reported through the appropriate systems. Alongside this, you will support, coach and guide your direct reports, helping to drive consistency, accountability and continuous improvement across operations.
This is a hands-on leadership role that requires strong organisational skills, confidence in decision-making, and the ability to respond effectively to changing operational demands while maintaining high standards of service and professionalism.
A full UK driving licence is required for this role.

* You are an experienced and confident leader with strong organisational and communication skills, able to manage teams and operational priorities in a fast-paced environment. You are comfortable working with IT systems and are willing to work towards additional qualifications to support your professional development.
You have the ability to build positive working relationships with colleagues, control centres and stakeholders, and you understand the importance of clear communication in delivering safe and effective operations.You have the ability to deliver outstanding customer service to our clients, with a clear understanding of how negative behaviour or language can impact our brand and reputation with both customers and stakeholders.
You are proactive, detail-oriented and able to ensure that procedures are followed, including daily vehicle checks and accurate reporting to a high professional standard.
You are organised, reliable and adaptable, with the confidence to guide your team, clarify expectations and ensure that everyone understands their daily duties and responsibilities. You take pride in maintaining high standards, supporting your team and contributing to a positive and professional working environment.
