EQUANS are looking for a Retrofit Coordinator to join our team in Manchester on a permanent basis. This is a fulltime role working 37.5 hours Monday to Friday. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.
General Overview
Responsible for the management of the retrofit assessment and coordination process and Trustmark Compliance on both survey and technical solutions.
What will you deliver?
1. To have full responsibility for the overall management and delivery of the PAS process, including assessment, design, installation and handover and monitoring, as defined in PAS processes.
2. Manage the retrofit survey process throughout the northern region, ensuring high standards of quality and compliance throughout the process
3. Work with Sustainability Manager & Sustainability Team in establishing EQUANS as the partner of choice in energy efficiency retrofit solutions through SHDF, LAD, ECO and any other available funding streams.
4. Provide accurate and effective energy modelling using RdSAP and full SAP, and provide guidance on solutions for meeting specific scheme criteria.
5. Delivery against specific objectives and targets on retrofit schemes.
6. Manage the PAS lodgement process on trustmatk in accordance with main contract delivery programmes to allow timely draw down of funding.
7. Ensure that the entire end to end surveying process and customer journey provides the highest standards for both our traditional customers (RSLs, LAs etc) as well at the end user customers (House Owners, tenants etc)
8. Ensure that the surveying of schemes exceeds targets in terms of survey quality, maximising outputs, and compliance with Trustmark
9. Be the main technical point of contact for Retrofit Coordination and energy modelling and manage relationship with key client stakeholders delighting and exceeding customers expectations
10. Work closely with operational teams to maintain timely and accurate survey information and specification solutions
11. Set up, implement and work with external survey partners on delivering retrofit surveys.
12. Work closely with external solution providers and designers to ensure high quality technical solutions to be passed on to delivery teams
13. Implement and manage an audit programme on both internal and external Assessors to ensure high standards of surveys
14. Assist the Bid Team on quality submissions for tenders ensuring that high standards of technical and process solutions of conveyed
15. Provide a single source of technical knowledge and leadership for the business unit.
16. Disseminate regular updates and briefings to teams, in line with technical developments.

Who are we looking for?
28. Retrofit Coordinator qualified
29. Domestic Energy Assessor qualified
30. OCDEA
31. Proven ability and experience of managing survey processes around housing refurbishment schemes
32. Proven ability to manage teams delivering against specific output objectives
33. High levels of process knowledge around the retrofit assessment process, and trustmark.
34. Excellent Communication Skills (Verbal & Written) including report writing
35. Sound construction knowledge in a range of construction types and techniques
36. Able to develop effective working relationships with internal and external partners.
37. Good Levels of numeracy
38. Computer literate in Microsoft Office
Desirable
39. Experience In managing and leading a team(s)
40. Minimum of 5 years working with the construction industry in general
41. Experience of working with surveying under SHDF/ECO/LAD
42. Proven experience in energy efficiency retrofit works
43. SMSTS certified
