The Running Account Manager will join our Running Specialist Team, working with industry-leading products to deliver market-leading standards and enhance customer experience.
The Role
The Running Account Manager will oversee the fulfillment of Specialist Sports commitments to wholesale trade accounts and other partners. The role will include:
* Managing a targeted list of Running customers to maximize revenue from B2B and B2C channels, ensuring timely dispatch and managing daily queries.
* Working with a northern UK account base.
* Growing the Running categories through new and existing customers, including proactive business development.
* Collaborating with the Category Manager to forecast and control inventory for Running categories.
* Supporting Specialist Sports & retail partners' events and expos.
* Working with brand coaches to deliver product training and promotional activations, and supporting retailers with technical content.
* Managing and developing the Running customer order book for timely fulfillment.
* Maintaining the Running database of wholesale and B2B customers, ensuring accurate contacts and engagement.
* Creating multimedia sell-in tools for the Running categories and maintaining up-to-date product content on the website.
* Handling general sales inquiries and coordinating with the fulfillment team to ensure prompt order delivery.
* Performing other duties as delegated by the Category Manager or Sales and Marketing Director.
The ideal candidate should have relevant trade experience and qualifications, an enthusiastic professional approach, and a personal interest in sports, especially running. The role is primarily field-based with frequent travel to our Southampton office. We offer flexible working hours, with core hours defined but adaptable based on role requirements.
The candidate should be able to identify customer needs, communicate effectively, and support customer success through excellent service and understanding.
