Construction Solicitor

PQE: NQ – 3+ years
Essential experience
- Running own matters as well as assisting more senior associates and partners with their cases.
- Delivering high quality, commercial advice to developers, main contractors, sub-contractors and construction professionals.
- Whilst experience in both contentious and non-contentious construction would be preferred, experience of acting in adjudications and TCC work is required.
- Excellent client relationship management skills.
- A strong academic record, with a minimum requirement of a 2:1 degree classification.

Knowledge and skills – You must be able to
- Manage own caseload.
- Manage own financial housekeeping.
- Conduct meetings with clients both face to face and remotely.
- Assess legal issues and advise accordingly, conduct legal research and advise on costs and scope of work.
- Draft documents and letters of advice.
- Keep up to date with law and practice.
- Have excellent communication and team skills.
