Business Development Manager role at Kingdom Services Group Ltd. An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Business Development Manager to join Kingdom. The role focuses on driving sales, securing new business, and fostering growth in the branch.
Job purpose: We are seeking an experienced and motivated Branch Business Development Manager who is focused on driving sales, securing new business, and fostering growth in the branch. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales, with a strong understanding of temporary labour solutions. You will be responsible for building and managing a sales pipeline, negotiating deals, and ensuring the branch’s sales team is motivated and performing to the highest standards.
Location & Hours
Location: South Bognor Regis
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 08:30am-17:30pm
Salary
£60,000 - £73,000 per annum
Key Responsibilities
* Proven experience in sales, ideally in the recruitment or temporary labour sector, with a focus on new business generation.
* Strong track record of building and managing a successful sales pipeline.
* Excellent commercial understanding with the ability to negotiate deals that align with both client needs and company profitability.
* Experience in managing and growing relationships with SME clients, identifying opportunities for expansion and growth.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and support a sales team to achieve targets.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team environment.
* A results-driven attitude, excellent communication skills, and the ability to present tailored solutions.
* Execute a targeted sales plan to drive personal revenue, margin, and market growth.
* Take full ownership of your sales targets.
* Proactively hunt new business and maximise cross-sell and upsell opportunities across Kingdom’s services.
* Represent Kingdom’s brand, values, and credibility in all client interactions and presentations.
The Successful Applicant Will Match The Below Skill Set
* Proven experience in a sales or account management role in apprenticeships and qualifications within a training provider. Confident promoting training solutions and vocational qualifications that support workforce development; capable of networking to drive partnerships.
* Strong understanding of business and marketing principles, operational demands and regulatory requirements; able to use digital technologies to drive marketing and communications.
* Ability to understand, analyse and interpret data to inform business development plans; capable of proposing products and training solutions that focus on client requirements. Comfortable engaging with clients on-site and remotely, managing a sales pipeline, and meeting performance targets.
* Excellent communication, proactive approach, and ability to work well within a small, supportive team. A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essential due to travel.
