Job Description:
People Business Partner
We are seeking a proactive and collaborative People Business Partner to support our client's growing professional services business. This role will act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, helping to align HR policies and processes with the needs of the business. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of employment law in the professional services environment, with the ability to influence, coach, and drive business outcomes through people initiatives.
This role requires you to be based in Manchester. You should ideally have access to a car and hold a driver's license, as you will be visiting neighboring offices.
Provide strategic and operational support in the following areas:
* Partner closely with senior leaders to understand business objectives and support the implementation of People strategies that support the business goals.
* Provide pragmatic advice and guidance to line managers and employees on employee relation matters, including investigations, disciplinaries, grievances, and appeals processes.
* Manage end-to-end restructures and TUPE processes.
* Support onboarding of new acquisitions within the region to ensure all systems, processes, and people activities are integrated.
* Use people data and metrics to identify trends, provide insights, and guide business and People decision-making.
* Lead on supporting long-term absences and capability concerns.
* Support the People Advisor with management of family leave processes for the region.
* Oversee onboarding and offboarding processes for the client group, ensuring SLAs are met and processes are efficient.
* Work in partnership with the Senior People Business Partner to deliver People Projects.
* Partner with Learning & Development to support regional training needs.
* Assist in reviewing and updating policies and procedures.
* Support cyclical activities such as appraisals and salary reviews.
* Provide guidance and support to the People Administrator and People Advisor.
Ideally, you will be CIPD Level 5 qualified.
