Job Title: Painting & Decorating Technician
Position: 30 hours per week
Role type: Temporary
Location: Neath
Rate: £15-18 per hour including holiday pay
Role Overview:The successful candidate will instruct learners, provide technical support, and prepare materials as required in relevant workshops.
Responsibilities include:
* Delivering practical activities for qualifications in Construction Painting & Decorating
* Assisting with coordination and management of practical sessions
* Collaborating with course teams and managing resources
* Assessing and verifying learners’ practical work
* Monitoring learner progress and providing reports
* Supporting pastoral care and academic guidance
* Attending meetings and events (e.g. course team, learner reviews, INSET)
* Completing administrative tasks (e.g. registers, exam entries)
Candidate Requirements:
* Level 3 qualification in Painting & Decorating (NVQ or equivalent)
* Relevant industry experience
* Level 2 qualifications in Maths and English (GCSE or equivalent)
* IT literacy to Level 2
* Knowledge of Health & Safety requirements
