Wearecurrentlyrecruiting SpecialistSpLDStudySkillsTutorswhoareableandwillingtodeliverface-to-facesupportoncampus .Thisrole cannotbeundertakenonaremoteoronline-onlybasis .Applicantswhoareunabletoprovidein-personsupportshouldnotapply.
TodeliverSpecialistStudySkillssupportfundedthroughDisabledStudentsAllowance(DSA),tutors mustmeetthemandatoryqualificationandprofessionalmembershiprequirementssetbytheDepartmentforEducation ,asoutlinedbelow.Applicationsfromcandidateswhodonotmeettheseessentialcriteriacannotbeconsidered.
Thetutorsweworkwitharefreelancerswhovalueflexibleworkinghoursandautonomyovertheirschedules.Tutorstypicallymeeteachstudentregularly,usuallyforonetotwohoursperweek,toexploreandaddressthestudentsindividualbarrierstolearningwithintheiracademiccontext.

Thesuccessfulcandidatewill:
Provide one-to-one,in-personspecialiststudyskillssupport touniversitystudentswithSpecificLearningDifficulties(SpLDs),helpingthemtodevelopstrategiestoreducetheimpactoftheirdisabilityonacademicstudy.
Workcollaborativelywithstudentstoidentifyneeds,setgoals,andreviewprogressovertime.
CommunicateprofessionallyandeffectivelywithMulberryEducationand,whereappropriate,withuniversityDisabilityAdvisorteams.
Maintainaccurate,securedigitalrecordsinlinewithMulberryEducationandDepartmentforEducationrequirements.
Managetheirowntimetableandtakeaproactiveapproachtosupportingstudentengagement.
