The Lyndhurst Surgery are lookingfor a full/part -time Practice manager who will be accountable on a day-to-day basisfor its operational and stakeholder management of a NHS General Practice, witha list size of around 5000 patients.
We arelooking for an enthusiastic and resourceful manager with strong interpersonalskills to manage the practice and its future growth. The person appointed willbe appropriately qualified and have proven skills particularly in HR, IT andmanaging finances.
Main duties of the job
Patientservices: maintaining effective systems for the smooth day to day running ofthe Practice
Strategicdevelopment and financial planning of the practice: ensuring opportunities forthe development of the practice are maximised
Maximisingincome streams and ensuring cost efficiencies for the practice
HumanResource Management
Leadershipand management of practice staff; ensuring a cohesive, stable andwell-motivated workforce
Managementof Information Technology systems
Managementof equipment and stock
Healthand Safety, risk assessments and compliance with mandatory training
Overseeingday to day compliance with GDPR
Ensuring Care Quality Commission compliance

TheLyndhurst Surgery is a training practice to trainee GPs and medical students.At our last CQC inspection we were rated as Good. We are a high QOF achievingpractice. We are part of the Forest Integrated Health PCN based in WalthamForest. We have two partners,and are supported by experienced clinical and non-clinical teams.

Person Specification
Qualifications
* Proven record of managing an organisation and its staff in a healthcare setting
* Excellent written and oral communication
* Proficient in the use of IT systems- EMIS web, Microsoft Office
* Experience of performance management, including appraisal writing, staff development
* Ability to prioritise, delegate and work to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
* Effective time management - Planning & Organising
* Ability to develop, implement and embed policy and procedure
* Educated to degree level in healthcare or business
* Leadership and / or Management Qualification
* AMSPAR Qualification
