3 month contract role with a Local Authority
Job Summary:
• The Planner (BAND2C) role at Sutton Housing Partnership is a temporary administrative and clerical position within the Business Unit Repairs team.
• The post-holder will support direct labour planning operations, ensuring efficient scheduling and coordination of repair and maintenance activities.
Key Duties/Accountabilities (Sample):
• Plan and schedule repair and maintenance work for the direct labour team.
• Maintain accurate records of jobs, resources, and work schedules.
• Liaise with operations staff to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks.
• Monitor daily progress and adjust plans to meet operational requirements.
• Support reporting and administrative tasks to aid team performance and decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with organisational policies and procedures.
Skills/Experience:
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in planning, scheduling, or administrative roles, preferably within housing, facilities, or repair operations.
• Ability to manage multiple workloads and prioritise effectively.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and planning/record-keeping systems.
• Clear verbal and written communication for liaising with teams and reporting.
• Ensure accuracy in scheduling, records, and documentation.
• Ability to anticipate issues and adjust plans accordingly.
Additional Information:
• Bi-Weekly Payments.
• Temporary role for 90 days, 8 hours per day (08:00–17:00).
• Office-based role; no hybrid working.
• Location: Carshalton Road, Sutton, Greater London, SM1 4LE.
