This warehouse supports the cardboard and plastic recycling process, as well as tray wash operation, for one of the leading grocery supermarkets. The site is a fast-paced, diverse environment, with plenty of development opportunities available.
Your Role As a Warehouse Operative
* Please be aware that you will be working in a cold environment (about 1-3 degrees) for all duration of shift.
* Load empty trays onto the wash machine ready for cleaning.
* Unload clean trays from the wash machine and stack them away ready for collection.
* Empty cages of cardboard onto the bailing machine ready for condensing.
* Ensure a hazard free zone by guaranteeing that all the work areas are kept clean and tidy.
What We Are Looking For In a Successful Candidate
* No experience required all training will be provided.
* Can-do attitude with a willingness to learn something new.
* Willing to work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive work.
Salary & Shifts
Full time pay rates 4 on 4 off
* Day rate £12.21
* Night rate £12.95
Part time pay rates
* Day/night £12.21
Typical Working Hours As a Full Time Warehouse Operative
You will be working 12-hour shifts on a 4 on, 4 off rotation, paid breaks
* Day shift: 6am until 6pm
* Night shift: 6pm until 6am
* Part time roles start 8am/8pm 10hrs shift, no paid breaks
