Join our Sales Distributed Team within Siemens Energy Gas Services as a Client Manager.
Within the Sales Distributed UK & Ireland region, we support more than 100 customers from the Oil & Gas, power generation, and industrial sectors. The projects you will be involved in are some of the largest and most complex globally within this industry.
This is a highly networked role that requires an ability to work under pressure and to challenging deadlines. It will require strong people management and commercial skills, ensuring flawless execution of all tasks.
How You'll Make an Impact
1. Responsible for the development and performance of all sales activities in assigned customer accounts in the UK&I region across the product portfolio to deliver profitable growth.
2. Completion of all pre-acquisition activities to Sales Handover covering all commercial, sales, and marketing aspects.
3. Establish plans and strategies to expand the customer base within the assigned region.
4. Key factors for developing sales and marketing initiatives for Gas Services markets include Order Intake and Forecasting.
5. Strategically deliver orders and sales through the customer relationship management tool.
6. Formulate, establish, and implement long-term strategies and tactical sales plans to achieve growth in the territory.
7. Results are achieved through effective forecasting and follow-up of sales opportunities within the Service portfolio of products and services (inclusive of long-term projects, OEM spares, retrofits, revamps, service exchanges, repairs, and refurbishments).
8. Implement product business strategy through market and customer focus, collaborate with customers for new business.
9. Accountable for Order Intake objectives as well as sustaining growth targets in accordance with business strategy and market model, and driving a healthy sales funnel.
10. Effectively manage opportunities via CRM Tool (, ensuring opportunities are regularly updated and maintained in accordance with company policy. The Client Manager is encouraged to ensure funnel accuracy and attend regular reviews to update management on order intake and fore-casted opportunities.
Your Profile
11. Proven track record in successfully delivering complex project opportunities, demonstrating the ability to engage effectively at the Director level with both internal and external collaborators.
12. Deep understanding of the competitive marketplace, coupled with strong commercial competence, including proficiency in P&L management and risk assessment.
13. Proficiency in managing complex, multi-workstream projects while ensuring compliance with internal governance procedures and standard methodologies.
14. Dedication to encouraging a diverse workforce, recognising its importance in driving business success and innovation.
15. Open to discussing flexibility requirements and workplace adjustments to support agile working and improve team collaboration.
