An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our fantastic team within Ward B11 in Forth Valley Royal Hospital. B11 is a 32 bedded ward, caring for both elective and emergency general surgical patients.
We are looking to appoint a highly motivated, enthusiastic, caring Senior Charge Nurse as part of our inpatient acute surgical service. The dedicated post holder will be required to lead the team in providing safe, effective and person centred care. The post holder will have continual 24 hour responsibility for the management of the ward/department. You will provide clinical leadership and expert advice to all nursing staff in the delivery of care within their area of responsibility including recruitment, supervision, development and deployment of unit staff. A high level of interpersonal, communication and organisational skills are essential. You must be able to provide evidence of your professional development. You should be educated to/working towards/operating at Degree level with significant experience working at a senior level in an acute setting.
