The Department of Pure and Applied Chemistry (PAC) within the Faculty of Science is seeking a motivated and service‑focused Stores Manager to support the delivery of teaching and research activities across our laboratories and technical facilities.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage the day‑to‑day operation of the Departmental Stores, ensuring efficient receipt, storage, control, and distribution of chemicals, consumables, equipment, and specialist items.
* Support procurement processes, stock control, and goods receipting.
* Handle hazardous materials and ensure compliance with university financial and health & safety procedures.
* Provide a responsive, customer‑focused service to academic, research and technical colleagues.

* Salary range: £28,031 - £30,378
* FTE: 1 (35 hours/week)
* Term: Open-ended
