Evening Care Assistant – Towy Castle Care Home
Location: Carmarthen, SA32 8DY
Pay: £12.60 per hour
Contract: Permanent, Part-Time
Hours: 17:00 – 22:00 | 3 shifts per week
Rota: Includes weekends & bank holidays
Due to the home's location and shift times, applicants are strongly encouraged to have a driving licence and access to their own vehicle.

Towy Castle Care Home is looking for a caring and reliable Evening Care Assistant to join our dedicated team. This important role focuses on supporting residents during the evening hours, helping them feel relaxed, comfortable and settled for the night.

Your Responsibilities
As an Evening Care Assistant, you will:
* Support residents with evening personal care routines
* Assist with meals, drinks, and hydration
* Support medication administration where appropriate and trained
* Provide companionship, reassurance, and emotional support
* Help residents prepare for bed comfortably and safely
* Maintain a calm, respectful, and welcoming environment
* Accurately record care provided and report any concerns
What We're Looking For
Kind, patient, and dependable approach
Previous care experience preferred
NVQ/QCF Level 2 in Health & Social Care (or willingness to work towards)
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Commitment to delivering person-centred care
