We are seeking an enthusiastic person to join our professional and dedicated team of advisers. Our services are critical to the development of social enterprises, SMEs, entrepreneurs, and community groups throughout the Highlands and Islands. You will ideally have experience of the third sector and skills in at least some of the areas for which we provide support to our clients, e.g. strategic planning, financial forecasting, charitable trading, stakeholder consultation, governance, feasibility studies, facilitation, workshop delivery. Main Purpose: To provide competent, informed and relevant business advice to social enterprises and other third-sector organisations. Main Tasks: Deliver business advice and support services as an adviser for the Just Enterprise contract. This is often done jointly with a colleague. Contribute to the development and delivery of workshops for the Just Enterprise contract and other clients. Contribute to the delivery of other contract work, e.g. community consultation, options appraisals, feasibility studies and business plans. Provide 1-2-1 business advice to third sector and community organisations, often remotely but sometimes in person, involving travel. Represent the company at events on an occasional basis to promote the Just Enterprise contract and the other services we deliver. Maintain a thorough understanding of the social enterprise eco-system and the political, legal and economic policies which will impact on our clients trading environment.
